We're looking forward to seeing those of you that will be performing with us in Adelaide.  
As always, it's a big task putting together a show in such a short time, with just one long rehearsal to do so. In order for this to be a success, the musicians are all expected to have learnt their parts ahead of time. The rehearsal is a chance to polish things off, and put together the show, rather than teach people their parts. Please turn up with your preparation done, so we can crack on with having fun on the day! 😘  
 
This show will be outside, without a PA, and as such we won't be performing any songs this time. It's going to be a Bateria and dance show. All the bossas below will be played.

How to play Em Cima!  
This delightful fella has nothing to do with the Cacatuas, however this is a great lesson broken down slowly on how to play. The first part of the video is explaining how to hold your drum and stick, then from 12:50 he begins to demonstrate the pattern clearly and slowly. We'd encourage playing em cima as much as possible. If you play caixa, or even if you don't, invest 25 minutes of your life on this. He totally gets it 😀
